MoMa Moments

Mom and I wrapped up our museum day at the Museum of Modern Art! We hadn't been there in a while, and there were a lot of new exhibits to enjoy. The first new exhibit we saw was all about innovation in design, they showed the simple ways items like post it notes, fonts, and furniture
The featured exhibit was by artist Jack Whitten. He uses paint in the most unique ways to create his masterpieces. He pours acrylic paint and dries it out and cracks it to make it into small tiles and then lays paint mosaics, so different and gorgeous!

So many great pieces, but I think the thing about this experience is the sheer size of the exhibit. No matter where you stand, it is quietly, your own experience.
