Not only do April showers bring May flowers, but continued May showers bring even more May flowers! We've had an incredibly wet May (nearly 5 inches of rain!), and the flowers are everywhere and just so pretty.
Even on the wettest of days, being able to see the colorful flowers everywhere made the constant dampness a bit easier to bear! Here's hoping we have a more balanced amount of rain and sunshine and an equal amount of pretty flora in June!

Such beautiful flowers! I was just looking at my sentence a day post for May that I'm nearly done and I think I counted 3 full days without rain. We had an incredible amount of rainfall this month too.

oh! so beautiful! spring is the most glorious time of year don't you think. Here in Western Australia we are entering winter, it is getting colder, but we are desperately needing rain, whereas on the east coast homes are being washed away.
