The Public Hotel has a fun summer public art piece called the Rabbit Hole. It is a fully rideable, life-sized carousel in the middle of Chrystie Park, the Public Hotel’s front courtyard. It is the work of artist Pose and Ian Schrager. The whimsical, colorful piece is inspired by New York City’s 1980s graffiti heyday and the imaginative pull of storybooks.

The Rabbit Hole
The carousel is fully rideable (for free!) and gives kids and adults alike a bit of colorful fun! In addition to the carousel, there are colorful benches and Adirondack chairs so you can sit in the lush garden space and enjoy the pop of color all around you!
