The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 49

The Good:
I drove by this really decked out house in Scarsdale (a ritzier neighboring town) and loved the lights. You don't see houses this lit up around here that often!

The Random:
Apparently, hollandaise sauce is a Chanukah staple...?

The Fun:
I popped into PetSmart and hung out with this adorable guinea pig for a bit - he was so cute, but alas didn't come home with me!

Cute guinea pig! I had one for a while when I was a 3rd grader. I'm trying so hard to remember what I named her, but I cannot think of it!

Your guinea pig photo reminded me of the time we went to the pet store and came home with our own pet guinea pig - Bella! Our girls loved her!

Pretty lights and cute guinea pig--my grandchildren have had them as pets but sadly they do not seem to live many years. The sauce must have been labeled Kosher and the store clerk thought it belonged??

Such pretty lights! Had to laugh at the Hollendais sauce! And, what a sweet guinea pig! They are sweet pets but a lot of work. Very sociable, though! My daughter had 2, and they each lived about 7 years. I'm not sure why they lasted that long, but they were fun!

Our neighborhood is great about lights and so fun to see on evening walks-love it. Such a cute little critter to hang out with. Are you thinking about getting one?
