We had our first snow Saturday night into Sunday. I may be in my 30s, but I love the idea of a white Chanukah so I was so happy to see the snow on the morning of the first candle. I bundled up and took a walk while the snow was still falling. The neighborhood is just so pretty when it snows, and I love being out when the blanket is still fresh.
We ended up with about 5.5 inches and it was just so pretty! It's a pretty heavy snow, and now it's near arctic out there, so it's not going anywhere for a bit!

We got around the same amount and the dip in temps too. It was pretty when it was coming down but I'm over it already!
We are below freezing, and all the deck plants are in the shop, but no snow here in Texas. Blessings to you and yours!
Blessing to you at Hanukkah - our neighbors brought us latkes and applesauce! Yum!
All that snow is so pretty and I know super cold but I wouldn't mind right now--way better than depressing cold fog!
Your photos are lovely! I nearly went out and took photos while the snow was falling here but talked myself out of it. I bundled up by the wood stove to read instead.
Downy snow covering the world. We got a ton too!
Beautiful!
Snow is always so beautiful! Strangely, Colorado is not receiving its usual snowpack this year — it has been unusually hot and dry. Happy Hanukkah and Happy 2026!
Amazing weather, Stunning photo.
Greetings.
These are like postcards! I appreciate benefitting from your snow walk. But I think I might have been tempted to stay under a blanket! LOL!
