The Good. The Random. The Fun. v. 25

The Good:
School is out for the kids and me now! The last day was a fun blast - cleaning up supplies, funny read a louds, and a party with bouncy houses!

The Random:
I decided to reread the Harry Potter series this summer, it's like an old friend and we're getting reacquainted. I first read this exact copy 17 years ago...so crazy!

The Fun:
Was at a friend's house for a bbq/get together over the weekend. Nothing beats that summer sun as it sets!

Wow! You make me feel old thinking about Harry Potter 17 years ago. I remember my oldest loved the books and my youngest wasn't quite ready to invest so much time into just one book. Then, my oldest moved on to other books and by the time the later books came out my youngest was sold on the series. Time goes by so fast.

I looove Harry Potter. I really want to read it with my kids but so far they haven't really been interested. It will be interesting for you to read it as an adult!

I know it's so strange looking back at Harry's beginning! Your last photo is so expressive! Beautiful moment.

What fun to read Harry Potter! I never have read books 5-7 as they weren't even written when I first read the series! Maybe I should read them this summer...

Love that shot with the sun flare, and I don't think Harry Potter will ever get old :)

Our Harry Potter series is being read (and reread and reread and reread!) by both kids! I love it when the books are getting so much love. :)

I am WAY behind on visiting blogs - "school's out" are two words that never get old. I re-read the Harry Potter series when the kids were younger and each book before it's movie was released - again some things never get old - never tired of the story.

Oh, I think I will go find the Harry Potter Books! Wasn't it amazing to read them for the first time?

Brandon is just starting to read the Harry Potter series and I was thinking of re-reading with him. Enjoy! Love that summer bbq sun shot and happy summer to you with school being out.
