The David Zwimmer Gallery in Chelsea has an electric exhibit right now. GRIDS by artist Dan Glavin is lighting up the rooms of the gallery with these fun, neon grids.
Flavin created these sculptures using commercially available fluorescent light fixtures.
He says of light: "One might not think of light as a matter of fact, but I do. And it is, as I said, as plain and open and direct an art as you will ever find.”
This was a fun burst of color in these cold, white, dark months!
