The Good:
Today is Tu B'Shevat - the Jewish holiday of the trees. We celebrate that in Israel, the trees are waking up and starting to bloom. While here in New York, we've been in the single digits for weeks, the Hudson River is frozen solid, and the icicles look like this (:
The Random:
A tradition on Tu B'Shevat is to eat lots of yummy fruits (and other foods we classify as from the trees ie certain nuts). The local kosher market had a whole display of fun fruits, including these adorable mini-pineapples!
The Fun:
Chelsea Market had this cool mini-exhibit all about the design of movie posters. It was cool to see some iconic ones and learn the "science" behind how they're laid out.

Happy Tu B'Shevat, if that's something you say! I don't know. I was asking Zachary for more info and he didn't reply.
I love fresh pineapple! I never saw small ones like this. Enjoy the season!
...Tu B'Shevat is new for me, but being a tree hugger, it's right my alley. Here the sky looks like spring, but that's about it. Winter has its grip on us.
Those pineapples are adorable! Your icicles look a lot like ours.
Chag Sameach Tamar!
Wow, I can't get over those icicles! We've been melting in a heatwave here on the East coast of Australia (50C) some places with Bushfires raging!
Shalom
A nice collection ...as ever.
Have a good time and all the best
