So funny. That's one of my favorite things about working with children. They are so funny.
My favorite kind of post! I giggled so hard!! Thank you for starting my day with a smile!
...my granddaughter, Emma who is in third grade, comes up with some doozies.
Is New Jersey a real state?! Hahahaha! Having lived in NJ for a about a decade, I have to say that is a valid question! I love these posts. So funny!

I just love these! They always make me laugh... and miss being in the classroom just a bit. Not that my boys aren't funny either. Yesterday my 7th grader told me he was done his math; I went to check it and said "what about the top? You forgot all these questions!" He looked over my shoulder, paused, shrugged and in the most sarcastic voice ever replied "No one ever needs to do the top!"
Oh, this is hilarious! I love third graders!
These always make me laugh!! They must be so much fun!
So funny. I love reading about all the funny thinks kids say. When my son was really little (2 or 3), when he sang the alphabet, instead of singing... k, l, m, n, o, p... he's sing "h, i, j, k, I'm a little p"
The little girl in the first story obviously has Cardinals confused with Eagles! :)
I love when you do these posts... you can't make this stuff up. I guffawed at the comment, nothing suspicious here comment!
Now that was a funny post! Thanks for sharing - I needed that chuckle!
You brightened my day - very funny!
Why yes, NJ IS a real state. LOL! I love the ones where one kids corrects another with something else just as silly!
"Was he the bad guy?" lol!! Awesome that you're writing these down to remember them.
Ha, ha, ha, so funny! 'was he a bad guy?' is the best!
Thank you for hosting.
I was reading a book about Martin Luther King Jr to my daughter's 1st grade class today. One little boy told he knew who he was: our first president. :) I love kids.
Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful weekend.
Taught third grade for 25 years - this sounds so familiar, I want to go back! Thank you!
